Mastering "How"
Eva had been a communications and marketing consultant to major corporations for 10 years when it came clear: Although well received, her work amounted to telling people “what” had to be done. The truth was, they largely knew the tasks ahead. For various reasons, they were unable to go forward and do them.
Eva realized that what she was interested in – and excelled at – was helping people grasp the “how.” She set out to develop a unique approach and a set of tools to teach others how to become more effective, powerful and courageous, no matter what challenges were ahead.

How does coaching help?
Companies today are growing more complex and more inter-dependent, often spanning several continents and cultures. People are asked to interface with more types of employees, deal with more complexity, at a more rapid pace than ever before.
In previous times, employees spent years learning and gaining experience on the job. They were closely supervised and mentored by their supervisors; they “learned the ropes.” Unfortunately, today’s managers simply don’t have the time, or in many cases the skills, to groom emerging leaders.
People are catapulted into new positions without the training or preparation to help them reach their potential.
As a result, everybody loses: The fast track individual gets frustrated, the company doesn’t get the hoped-for resuls, the program fails — everyone loses ground.

Who can benefit?
Anyone who feels like they are ready for a change in their careers or their lives is a candidate for coaching by Eva. Most frequently, she is hired by both individuals and companies to work one-on-one with:
- Newly hired or newly promoted executives, to identify competencies, leverage strengths and accelerate development.
- Executives put in charge of new programs, to think strategically about how they will work with their teams.
- First-time CEO’s, VPs and C-Suiters, to explore what is expected of them in a new position.
- Technical experts, to learn the emotional intelligence and people skills to succeed as managers and leaders.
- Any motivated person interested in growth and staying on top of their game — addressing self-limiting behaviors, communication skills and barriers to success.
I had worked with other executive coaches, but it seemed like they had pat answers for everything. Eva listened to my situation and gave me new ways to think about it. The results changed my relationships at work relatively quickly. The answer was right in front of me, but I had never seen it before.
